Eating Out More Often

Geez! I didn't even notice it's been a week since I last blogged! Well, this is the life when you get too many things goin' on. No job yet coz I wanna make sure we got the apartment before I'll start hunting for one. It's been quite a hectic life here. So, no time to blog that much but anyway I can, I still need to since I've been sending out more money and making less. Not a good combination, hehehe!

Lately, I've been eating out a lot since I have no time to cook plus the kitchen here is still not a good place for cooking. I think it will be at least a month or so before this kitchen would be functional. That's why I couldn't wait for my apartment where I could comfortably cook, eat and sleep. I don't even want to check my weight right now since I know it would be an astonishing additional pounds after eating out a lot! I would end up looking up for diet pill reviews just to find something that could help me slim down a bit. Crazy thought eh? Yeah, even if people tells me I don't look fat at all! One of the sickness I have, hehehe!

Sample From My New Lens

The day I got my new lens (75-300mm Canon) of course, what do you expect? I tested and played my new toy! I was amazed of how far it could zoom..well yeah it's 300! Actually, I was leaning towards 50mm for portraits or this telephoto lens but then I know during wedding, it could be a little tricky to get the shot that I wanted if I use the 50mm {unless I go very close to the couple} The telephoto lens give me a good distance away from the couple and still get some closer shots! Anyways, just a little unedited photos of my 1st shots from this lens...

Your Logo On Anything!

Just today, we needed to head back to the other house to get that roof resolved. Like I mentioned in my other blog, we had severe strong winds over the weekend and we lost a bunch of shingles which is not good at all! The roof guy came there to check the damage and put a temporary solution for the meantime. They also took the opportunity to put their logo on our yard. I guess it's a brilliant idea to promote their company and there are also promotional products that can be a good marketing solution for any business! Christmas time is just around the corner and it's usually the great time to give away items for your valued customers, employees and future customers as well! So, better start checking out usimprints.com who got all great items perfect for promoting your products!

What My Future's Goin' To Be!

There's no really a way to tell what our future would be but we can definitely try to make it as pleasant as possible by doing something now that we can benefit in the future someday such as living a healthy life {stress free, healthy diet} and saving money or having reserved funds for unsuspected things. I, on the other hand, isn't really future conscious, which I know, is bad! Good thing I married my opposite who's always worried about it and making sure we'll be alright but there are many sacrifices along the way just to commit to that future plans. I need to do better in doing something to be independent, resourceful or just something that I could be like hubby who's involve in the stock market, futures trading or anything to help him add up that cash or savings! I think getting a job is the first step towards getting my own credit background and building up a credit score. It will happen soon!

No Jessica!

I am just getting used to not having my eldest with us all the time now. Since she got an AM enrichment class and PM traditional kindergarten, pretty much all day she's not around! I get her ready at 6am for the school bus and she gets home at 4pm so, my little Katie is feeling a li'l lonely not having her big sissy around to tease her, make her cry but of course make her laugh too!Hehehe!

Last time I asked my bestfriend to pick me up here at the farm, we headed straight to Bob Evans for lunch and let the kids play at the mall...seems a little odd not having Jessica in the picture...
but at least my Katie enjoyed the company of her friends while Jessica's learning in school *wink*

Scattered Furniture

My life now is kinda chaotic. Like mentioned we live in 2 places. So, as you can imagine we got our stuff scattered in both places. Actually, I didn't want to bring our furniture at the farm house since that place needs some renovation and you know how it can be messy. So, it's not practical to have it there. I actually want to purchase everything new but I know that's not practical. It would be nice to start accumulating modern furniture but I know it won't fit in a hundred year old house. So, perhaps antique furniture? contemporary? Well, I dunno what I really want yet. I'm just going with my guts when I'm at a store. Whatever jumps out at me.

She's Hurt!

Last Thursday, while at my friend's house staying with Katie, I got a call from hubby around 7pm telling me that Jessica's been hurt! She bumped into our door and had a cut. Told me it's not big but it's very deep so he gotta bring her to the hospital. I was stunned and asked my friends to drive me to the hospital. It took a long time for her to get the stitches but was immediately assessed by a nurse when they got there. I am glad I made it there before they could start stitching the cut! I was just about to enjoy a boat ride at night with friends and unfortunately, this accident occurred! Hubby and Jessica have been staying at the farm house since she's in school while Katie and I stayed at a friend's place for few nights. Like mentioned on my other blogs, I just couldn't stand staying at the farm anymore { I was starting to get depressed and loosing my sanity}. We talked about few solutions and at first, I was hoping I could stay in the Philippines with Katie while waiting for my father's visa so he could come with us here in US but since this accident happened, I felt like it's a sign that I shouldn't leave my eldest although I know she'll be just fine with her dad. So, now I'm considering getting an apartment near Jessica's school so, I don't have to suffer in the farm and still can take care of my girls and perhaps get a job nearby. Just few things I wanted to share! Thanks for reading anyways.

I Want My Own!

I have 3 credit cards in my wallet but one is my own debit card, the other one is only meant for gas/groceries/emergency and another one for shopping but it's on my hubby's name. Now, why do I want another one after all that cards? Since I've been here for 7yrs. now, I want to build up my own credit score and having a credit card on my own name would be nice! I guess I have to get a real job first so, I can qualify for my own credit card. Still, I searched for one just to see what suits me best! Of course, it can be quite confusing with all the Credit Cards available but with cardhub.com, I find it very useful! What I like about this website, you can easily pinpoint what are your preferences like the network and things you care about in a credit card and more! It's a great feature to narrow down the choices! Honestly, couldn't find anything bad about this website...Wait! I guess I have to apply for one before I'd come up with that conclusion but sad to say, I can't! Maybe you can...go visit cardhub.com now!

Her 1st Choice!

A friend of mine mentioned about Halloween and it made me think, yeah...it's getting pretty close to that! She was wondering where are we going to do our trick or treat {since we got 2 places we are living at and been planning to get an apartment soon so, that's going to be 3 places} Yeah - we have a complicated life, hehehe! Well, I thought wherever we are, we will definitely not miss the trick or treat and of course, I want my kids to pick out whatever costumes that they'd like! My kids enjoy Halloween a lot and I know not only do they like getting treats but also the fun of dressing up of who they wanna be even just for the night and the quality time spent together as a family too!

Jessica's first choice when asked about which Disney Costumes she liked the most, it's Tinker Bell of course! I guessed it right coz I know how much she likes Tinker Bell nowadays. It always changes especially at this age. It used to be Princess Aurora last year and now she's over with princess stuff, wants to look like a fairy and most especially become Tinker Bell!hehehe!

I am a procrastinator and I never learned my lesson. Every Halloween, I end up shopping for the costumes at the very last minute and it's not easy coz the sizes won't fit and they ran out of the costumes my girls wanted but I think even if I still do the same mistake this year, I wouldn't worry like before since I found one of the Halloween Costume Stores that might be helpful for me even at the last minute! Well, of course I cannot buy close to the day we are using it, still it's less stressful for me to shop for the costumes since I can do it online at halloweenadventure.com at an affordable price! My kids can look through the picture and pick out the sizes! So, start shopping too with your kids and surely, you'll find what your kid would want for Halloween!!!

Didn't Get A Chance

I didn't get a chance to upload our recent photos from the Labor Day Weekend and a week has already passed. I am always good at uploading photos right away but this time, too many things has happened. Now that I've got the time to do so...I realized my camera is left at my hubby's van, boink! So, nothing for me to do but wait til he gets back home. He's actually busy right now moving stuff from his warehouse since he signed to be out of there next week! I am glad he's doing that right now coz we are paying $700 a month for that warehouse and now that one nice building in the farm has been cemented and ready for all his equipments and stuff {you can actually fit in about 50 cars in that building, seriously!} it will totally help us get rid of his stuff from the warehouse, basement, garage and office! One less thing to worry about ***wink***

Another Sink?

Okay, although I've been demanding a kitchen sink for this old house...I happened to spot some cool bar sinks again online! They have some unique styles at kitchensinkoutlet.com so, that's what made me browse their website! I also end up wanting more stuff like the hot water dispenser! I like the idea of having a hot water dispenser and they sell that especially for this family who loves pasta. Yeah - I always cook pasta like spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, noodles and all that! Certainly easy to make one with the hot water dispenser! Okay, I better concentrate on finding a kitchen sink instead of something else! I have a hard time doing that, obviously!heheheh!

I Just Need...

...a good kitchen sink to have a functional kitchen here at the farm house! That's what I've been tellin' hubby and I know he's tired of hearing me complain and I wouldn't stop until I get it! It's not easy for me making meals without a kitchen sink and we eat 3 times a day, even more than that so, a functional kitchen is really necessary but somehow he started doing something before taking care of the kitchen so, now he gotta suffer hearing me complain and I gotta suffer without a functional kitchen! Something like that in the picture is what I wanted!Found it at faucet.com and they have all different kinds of a sinks that you might like. Go ahead and visit now!

Labor Day Weekend!

Darn! Forgot my camera at hubby's van...just wanted to check out our photos and share it here from our Labor Day Weekend! We left from the farm house Saturday afternoon after attending mass {good thing they have Sat. mass for those who cannot make it for Sunday}. Got home late that night at the other house and by Sunday, we had a get2gether my friend's place. I went early to cook my pansit there then around 5pm all of us headed to the lake. There's some kind of an event in their area and there was like some kind of race, they sell food and there was a band playing all night long...we decided to have a potluck and boy oh boy! So many food in the picnic table! Stayed there til 10pm and still continued the party at our friend's house...singing, playing pool, midnight snack...this is the life!hehehehe! Hoping to share my photos soon!!!
